The user account control allow the user to manage his/her log in information, except for the e-mail used to registered the account. The user can also remove the account through the control panel.
Vehicle reservation protocol
If vehicle reservation is allowed by the administrator, the logged user is presented with a form which requires private information such as name, phone, address, etc, to be filled. A reservation policy is displayed on which the user must agree with its terms in order to proceed with the reservation.
Once the reservation is submitted, the reservation protocol is made available for the user and administrator. A unique reservation code is add to each reservation protocol. The vehicle is automatically hidden from the global list to avoid reservation conflicts. It’s up to the system administrator to manage reservations through the administration panel.
The user’s favorite list control allows users to bookmark vehicles.
The error log manager allows the administrator to easily track any error throughout jT CarFramework. It’s a really powerful tool to ensure the system stability in all cases.
The notification board it’s the administrator’s main page and it’s designed to quickly notify the administrator of incoming system or user messages such as log entries, contact messages, etc.
New vehicle control
Built to minimize the amount of information on screen, the add new vehicle control is divided in 4 simple steps which allows a detailed description of the vehicle, including images, video and the vehicle information itself.
The second step of the process allows the system administrator to select icon features for each vehicle individually maximizing the visual impact of the product. [/ten_col_last]
The 3rd step is where the main information is input. It have a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor which allows you to freely style the content of the page.
The last step is to upload the vehicle pictures and/or videos. The process is done using ajax which gives you a live feedback of the images you are uploading. It also provides the tools to remove uploaded images/videos on-the-fly, in other words, without page refreshing.
The video option allows you to link videos hosted on media servers (such as YouTube). All you have to do is to paste the video URL on the box and click the save button.
Feature icon manager
More than 30 feature icons are already provided for you but you can still add more and/or change the label of each icon individually.
Newsletter can be sent directly from you administration panel. The newsletter is sent only to users which choose to register for newsletter.
You can write news to the Latest News page. It’s a powerful tool to give users notification of promotions, recalls, etc.
This tool allows the administrator to remove news.
A menu is a segment of the vertical menu placed on the left side of the page. Each segment has a title and anchors.
Menu anchor manager
Once a menu is created, you can start adding anchors to it. The manager allows you to define the anchor’s label and the order it appears on the menu.
Create a new CMS page
The CMS controle “Create a new page” allows you to create pages unrelated to the vehicle page system. These pages can be linked to the menu or act as stand-alone pages. Each page has a complete set of tools including a HTML editor and SEO tools.
The page manager lists all pages created by you. Each list item (page) may have it’s SEO properties edited on the spot but it also makes available controls to update the HTML content and remove the page.
Editing a page: The HTML editor allows you to handle the page’s layout easily and fast.
Manage static pages
Static pages are those pages which cannot be edited. IE:. Contact and Home page. Although static pages can’t be edited, it’s meta tags can!
This module control allows you to set the banner’s settings, add and remove banner images. The banner module is built upon jQuery’s Nivo-Slider module.
PrettyPhoto is a advanced Lightbox built upon jQuery framework. It’s a really powerful way to handle media such as images, videos and website content.
All messages submitted through the contact form are sent to the administrator box but also registered by the system. Messages can be handled directly by the system, including replying messages.
Compose a message
This tool allows administrators to write email to users registered on the system. The message is pre-formatted using the email template which can be edited through the email template tool.
Edit email template
Allows administrators to build an email template which is used in every control which requires email communication such as account activation and message reply.
Allows the administrator to change global configuration which affects the entire website.
Allows the administrator to manage registered accounts.
